Dave,

I am so thankful to have had you in my life for 32 (short) years. In the time I had you, you've given me a lifetime of guidance, understanding, compassion and most of all, love. You've helped shape me into the person I am today. There isn't a moment or memory recalled without laughter. Your extremely infectious laughter!!! You were such a wonderful human being Dave! There wasn't anything you wouldn't do for anyone, no matter what...and that's the one thing that so many have come to your family and said "Dave was always there when I needed him"... There have been many times in the past year that I've needed you, and although I know physically you'd be here if you could, you ARE here, in my heart, still guiding me, still helping me. I lost my Brother, New York firefighter Nick Chiofalo in the world trade center.

The sweetest and most content person I ever had the pleasure and honor to know.

Although I lost a part of myself that day, I hope he has that part, because I miss and think about him all the time.

He was my hero and a hero to so many others. I love and miss you Nick hope to see you someday.

A tribute to all the hero's of 09-11-01 It takes a certain type of individual to do the kind of work you do. While most people are running from the danger.
